Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English At least 6 months in a private physician practice setting preferred. Excellent communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish - translation duties may be required. Computer experience and other related office machinery License/Certifications MA cert or

EKG. BLS

certification preferred Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time often switching from one to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Knowledge of medical practice and care to provide quality patient care, including examination, diagnostic, treatment room procedures, medical equipment and instruments. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skills in assistance in a variety of treatments and medications as directed. Skills in taking vital signs, patient histories, EKG's, venipuncture, glucose testing, finger sticks and other clinical skills that are consistent with those of a medical assistant. Skills in maintaining quality assurance. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, co-workers. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate clearly.
