Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will work directly with the Dr. Responsibilities include greeting the patients and taking vital signs. Venipuncture and EKG as part of office visit. Preparing blood for labs. This is a solo practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient service.
Duties:
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring
  • Collect and document patient medical history and current symptoms
  • Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques
  • Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures for billing purposes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
  • Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
