Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all medication orders are processed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure that all necessary authorizations are obtained in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be critical to your success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in medication authorization or a related field Strong knowledge of electronic health records Ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks effectively Experience in
Healthcare Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple insurance companies and policies Experience with Covermymeds Knowledge of Pain Management medication Experience with Medicare, Workers comp, No Fault Experience with prior authorization and appeals processes
Responsibilities:
Process medication orders and obtain necessary authorizations from insurance companies Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure accurate and complete information Maintain accurate records of all medication authorizations and denials Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and regulations
Skills:
As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will use your strong skills in electronic health records, imaging systems, problem-solving, multitasking, and knowledge of pain management on a daily basis. You will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure that all necessary authorizations are obtained in a timely and accurate manner.
