Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Surg Onc & Breast Svcs Position Summary Summary:
The Medical Assistant assists the Surgical Oncology health care providers in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English At least 6 months in a private physician practice setting preferred. Excellent communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus - translation duties may be required. Computer experience and other related office machinery. License/Certifications Medical Assistant Certificate or Venipuncture and EKG Certification.
Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Requires positioning and lifting patients. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking.
