We're currently looking for a reliable and caring Medical Assistant to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment, values meaningful patient relationships, and wants to contribute to high-quality, hands-on care in a non-corporate setting. This position is PRN and would be great for someone looking for a flexible schedule! Key Responsibilities Assist our provider during patient exams and minor procedures Take and record vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for their visits Perform basic in-office tests (e.g., urine tests, glucose checks) Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized Provide friendly, respectful, and attentive service to every patient Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone calls, and record-keeping as needed Educate patients on medications, treatments, and care instructions Support the overall daily flow and operations of our practice preform venipunctures, injections, and vision screenings Qualifications Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic, family practice, or similar setting is preferred Strong understanding of vital signs, basic clinical procedures, and medical terminology Good communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) Certification and experience as a Medical Assistant and/or phlebotomist Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn ability to obtain blood draws and give vaccines A warm, team-oriented attitude—we're a small office and work closely together!
