Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and caring Full Time, Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care office in Findlay, Ohio. On the job training provided - entry level medical background preferred. This position will be responsible for the following: § Assisting clinic Provider during clinic § Call patients in from the waiting room § Take and log vitals § Update all medical information appropriately in Centricity, including allergies § Complete orders through Centricity upon direction of the Provider § Answer incoming telephone calls, maintain call logs as necessary § Return patient phone calls with response to the Medical Message, per the direction of the Provider § Maintain patient communication appropriately through Centricity chart § Maintain medication and injection log appropriately through Centricity chart § Applying splints as directed by Provider § Keeping rooms stocked and ordering supplies/injections § Initiates and completes workers compensation / billing forms as needed § Performs urine drug collections and venipunctures § Performs vision and breath alcohol testing § Calls new prescriptions and refills to pharmacies as directed by
