Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in a dual role capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical support and administrative duties, with experience across various medical settings including outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, and emergency care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care while ensuring smooth front-office operations. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to patient service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with patient intake processes efficiently. Obtain vital signs, document medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations in accordance with clinical protocols. Support physicians and healthcare providers with procedures as needed Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately, including data entry, appointment scheduling, and ICD coding for diagnoses. Assist in clinical procedures Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance documentation. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols. Requirements Must have CMA or RMA within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support practices including intake procedures and patient service excellence. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospital or clinic settings. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient care environments. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
