Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly

Job Summary:

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) Float to join our FCHC Provider Based Clinics team. In this role, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care by documenting patient encounters, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, and preparing for and assisting with exams, procedures, and wound/incision dressing changes. You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other offices and facilities on behalf of the patient.

Key Responsibilities:

Document patient encounters as directed by the provider Escort/assist patients to rooms Take and record patient vitals Prepare patients for exams and procedures Assist with wound and incision dressing changes Take patient phone calls and communicate with other healthcare facilities

•Requirements Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (MA) Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is required Prior experience in a provider office setting is preferred Strong multitasking skills Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent customer service skills
