Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant, where you will be the welcoming face and efficient support system for patients and our provider alike. This vital role combines alternating front desk responsibilities with hands-on medical assisting duties, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care. You will manage patient intake, coordinate appointments, and assist in multiple facets of our rheumatology office . Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-quality care. Duties include Greet patients warmly, verify their information, collect copays/balances and facilitate smooth check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up coordination to optimize clinic flow. When assisting, collect and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and current symptoms with accuracy and professionalism Assist provider with clinical procedures such as administering medications Prepare examination rooms Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, guiding patients through procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit Experience Previous experience working in a healthcare setting both receptionist duties and some medical assisting Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology to accurately document patient encounters Strong computer skills and data entry Hands-on experience with intake procedures, vital signs Experience supporting patient care in specialized areas like geriatrics is a plus Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude to deliver outstanding patient care in fast-paced settings Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate healthcare while working with a friendly dedicated staff. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
