Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinical operations. This vital role combines hands-on clinical support with administrative duties to ensure seamless patient experiences in a fast-paced medical environment. You will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide compassionate, efficient care in an outpatient clinic,. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their comfort. Support physicians and nurses with clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, X-ray procedures, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary. Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient information, and treatment plans. Conduct assessments related to physiology and anatomy knowledge to support diagnosis and treatment in an outpatient setting Manage medical supplies and assist with inventory control Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of clinical activities across diverse departments. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology. Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately and efficiently in outpatient or inpatient settings. Knowledge of medication administration protocols within hospital or clinic environments.
