Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support physician by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills along side the physician. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with patient intake procedures Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort Assist healthcare provider with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems efficiently to document patient encounters accurately Perform diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging or basic laboratory tests in compliance with safety protocols Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use Perform ICD coding to accurately document diagnoses for billing purposes Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering education on treatments, and ensuring a positive experience Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient or inpatient settings in physicians office. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology and anatomy related to various specialties of surgical care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required; additional certifications in X-ray operation or emergency medicine are a plus. Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding practices for accurate documentation. Hands-on experience supporting clinic Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
