ClearView specializes in providing comprehensive clinical assessments to patients. The clinic serves a diverse population including the insured, uninsured, and the underinsured. The clinic is open Monday-Friday. Monday thru Thursday is a regular 9am-5pm schedule. Fridays are half-days (9am - 1pm) focused on follow-up care and laboratory assessments. Job Summary We are looking to hire a Medical Receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills. The position would be filled by an individual with effective time management and record keeping skills. The candidate is expected to be able to professionally and maturely, communicate with patients, pharmacies, outside provider's offices, and in-house office staff. This individual will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the clinic. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure, be able to adapt while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and can efficiently meet patient and office needs. Ideal candidates are polite, enthusiastic self-starters. Responsibilities Serves patients (in person and on the telephone) by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments and maintaining records and accounts. Filing and retrieving patient records. Obtain co-pays, update patient personal and health insurance information and check insurance eligibility. Maintains office inventory. Communicate with outside clinical and laboratory staff. Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities. Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations, protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
