Our focus is on providing personalized, high-quality care for patients with allergies, asthma, and immune system conditions. We are a small, close-knit team where you will work directly with the physician every day — not get lost in a large hospital system. The Role We are hiring a Medical Assistant who wants to do real clinical work in a specialty setting.

This is a hands-on role:

you will room patients, perform allergy skin testing, administer immunotherapy injections, assist with procedures, run spirometry, and handle the administrative tasks that keep a busy practice moving. We are open to two types of candidates:

• Experienced Medical Assistants looking for a specialty practice with more clinical depth than a typical primary care office. If you're tired of rotating through generic vitals-and-rooming and want to build real expertise, this is your role.
• Recent college graduates pursuing medical school, PA school, or another health professional program who want meaningful clinical experience — not just shadowing.

We will train you from the ground up on allergy testing, immunotherapy, spirometry, and EHR documentation. What matters most is that you are sharp, reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely want to be in a clinical environment working with patients. What You'll Do Clinical responsibilities:

• Room patients, take and record vital signs, and document medical histories in the EHR
• Perform and read allergy skin prick testing and intradermal testing under physician direction
• Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) per physician-approved protocols
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after injections or testing
• Perform spirometry (pulmonary function testing) and other point-of-care diagnostics
• Assist the physician during examinations and minor procedures
• Educate patients on allergen avoidance, medication use, and immunotherapy schedules as directed by the physician Administrative responsibilities:
• Schedule patient appointments, including allergy testing and immunotherapy visits
• Manage prior authorizations for medications, biologics, and allergy serum
• Handle incoming patient calls and route clinical questions to the physician
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Manage vaccine and allergy extract inventory and monitor expiration dates
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care What We're Looking For You should meet one of the following qualification paths: Path 1 —

Experienced MA:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES), current national certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent), or at least 2 years of clinical medical assistant experience in a physician's office Path 2 — College graduate:
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress with expected graduation before start date) with a strong academic background, preferably in biology, chemistry, or another science All candidates must have:
• Comfort with needles and injections — this role involves daily allergy shots and skin testing
• Strong attention to detail, especially around medication preparation and patient monitoring
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently within a small team
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our EHR system Preferred but not required:
• Experience in an allergy, immunology, pulmonology, or ENT practice
• Previous clinical experience — whether as an MA, scribe, EMT, CNA, or through clinical volunteering and shadowing
• Familiarity with allergy skin testing, immunotherapy protocols, or spirometry
• Current BLS/CPR certification (we can help you obtain this if needed)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer
