This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in patient care. Duties Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures Support medical documentation efforts by coding diagnoses using ICD codes, maintaining detailed medical records, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Conduct specimen collection (phlebotomy), manage laboratory samples Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing EMR/EHR data entry, verifying insurance information Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within outpatient or hospital settings. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and phlebotomy requested Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with seniors.
