We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant who is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting our providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Summary The Medical Assistant supports providers through a combination of patient care and administrative responsibilities. This role plays a key part in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for appointments, including intake and vital signs. Assist providers with patient follow-up, prescription refills, inbox management, and documentation. Prepare, stock, clean, and maintain exam rooms and equipment. Manage patient charts, lab results, diagnostic reports, and outside medical records. Educate patients and support scheduling and care coordination. Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and other patient inquiries. Cross-train in laboratory, phlebotomy, and front desk functions as needed. Attend required meetings and training sessions. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies. Travel to other clinic locations as business needs require. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current BLS and/or CPR/AED certification required. Minimum 6 months of recent Medical Assistant experience preferred. CMA certification preferred. CPT (Phlebotomy) certification preferred. Skills & Attributes Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities. Pay:
$19.76 - $23.25 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
