Office Location:
HVMG Trinity, Chippewa Township Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays Rooms patients, collects vital signs, review patient medication list and patient medical/social history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.
REQUIRED
High School graduate or equivalent. CPR Certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Computer experience.
PREFERRED
Medical Assistant diploma or degree program . Minimum of one-year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture.
