Job Description

Company Overview Carlisle Dermatology Group is dedicated to providing exceptional dermatological care to the Carlisle community and its surroundings. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care while prioritizing patient well-being and innovative treatment options. Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team in Carlisle, PA. In this pivotal role, you will support our dermatology practice by ensuring efficient patient care and administrative operations, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence in dermatological health. The ideal Medical Assistant should be upbeat and maintain a professional and pleasant working attitude while dealing with providers, co-workers, and patients.
Sign On Bonus:
$2,500.00 with one year commitment
Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patients to exam room Prepare patient for exam/surgery Manage patient intake and maintain accurate medical records using EHR system (Modernizing Medicine) Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Assist with various office based Phototherapy Treatment Collect/prepare pathology specimen and requisitions Inform patients of biopsy results and schedule follow up appointments Clean and sterilize instruments Comply with Universal Precautions and OSHA Requirements Comply with all office policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and integrity of each medical record Ability to interact with multiple providers and staff members Perform any and all other duties as required to provide exceptional patient care Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service. Previous experience in a clinical office setting is preferred.
