We are looking for a warm, caring, and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our friendly plastic surgery practice. The ideal candidate will bring experience working in a medical office and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for patients. You will assist a physician during procedures, help patients feel comfortable and cared for, and support the smooth operation of our clinic. Your role will include front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and handling chart preparation with compassion and professionalism. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a supportive team committed to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic setting. Flexibility with scheduling is appreciated, as hours may vary based on the needs of the practice.
Responsibilities:
Assist physician during surgical procedures and patient consultations. Prepare and organize patient charts and documentation. Handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Obtain prior authorizations utilizing PEAR and
AVAILITY
systems. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Support patient education and provide excellent customer service. Schedule surgical procedures at when needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, preferably in plastic surgery. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as PEAR and
AVAILITY.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Professional demeanor with attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
