Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Medical Office Manager/Medical Assistant to support the efficient operation of our healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical office management, clinical procedures, and administrative support, with a strong emphasis on patient care, staff supervision, and practice operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment by ensuring seamless clinic workflows, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive patient experience.
APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED IF THEY HAVE HAD ASSISTANT MEDICAL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AND HAVE GRADUATED FROM A MEDICAL ASSISTANTS PROGRAM.
Duties Assist in managing daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks to optimize efficiency. Supervise train and mentor staff.. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information. Coordinate with human resources for staffing needs, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Assist in implementing quality assurance protocols aligned within healthcare management best practices. Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a medical office. Strong background in medical software. Our practice uses eClinicalWorks. Supervisory experience overseeing clinical staff and administrative staff. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and healthcare regulations Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
