Arkview Recovery Center in
Mechanicsburg, PA Schedule:
Full-Time | 8am-8pm | 3 days/week•
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Setting:
Inpatient Substance Use & Mental Health Treatment Make a Difference. Grow Your Skills. Join a Team That Cares. We're hiring a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant to support our inpatient treatment team. In this role, you'll work alongside nurses and providers to care for adults in recovery from substance use and mental health challenges.
What You'll Do:
Take vitals, collect patient info, and assist with detox protocols Perform basic wound care, ADL support, and observe/report patient changes Administer non-controlled meds and injections Perform point-of-care testing (UDS, pregnancy tests, BGM, venipuncture, nasal swabs) Support with patient education, documentation, referrals, and follow-ups Keep clinical areas clean and follow infection control policies
What You Need:
Medical Assistant certification or completion of accredited MA program CPR certification (required) Experience with venipuncture and nasal swabs (or willingness to train) Behavioral health or detox experience preferred
