Job Description
We are a small, patient-centered concierge-like practice seeking a part time Certified Medical Assistant for our two-physician Internal Medicine practice located in Paoli, PA. The ideal candidate should be flexible, friendly, a team player and able to multi-task. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional and is comfortable working in a small team setting. The candidate will be responsible for both clinical and front desk coordination including, but not limited to: Obtain and record physical measurements such as height, weight and vital signs. Review and document specific medical information such as the reason for visit, medications and allergies. Administer and document vaccines. Collect and prepare (phlebotomy required) laboratory specimens such as blood, urine, flu and throat swabs. Assist the physicians during exam when needed. Perform EKG's. Clean and sterilize medical instruments. Chart preparation. Answer and triage telephone calls. Document and communicate effectively. Schedule appointments using electronic medical records system (training provided). Manage inventory and restock exam rooms and clinical area with supplies.
