We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team within primary care medicine and women's health medical practice. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical procedures and terminology. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes. Answer phones, schedule patients, check in patients. Provide support to patients by addressing their needs and concerns effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain clean office environment. Skills Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Critical thinking skills for analyzing and resolving clinical and administrative challenges. Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with coding practices for medical billing purposes. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support. Qualifications Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program High school or GED graduation required Medical assisting experience in OBGYN is strongly preferred Experience in an medical doctor office is preferred
