Busy specialty (sleep medicine & pulmonary) practice, with locations at the Lankenau Medical Center, Paoli Hospital and the Main Line Health Center in Broomall, is seeking an experienced, exceptional and professional Certified Medical Assistant to support the providers at our growing practice in our Wynnewood Pulmonary Office . Must be self-motivated, a team player, friendly, organized, able to multi-task and greet patients with a smile. Experience with telephone triage, patient education and insurance prior authorization for medications is required. Experience in dealing with durable medical equipment, DME companies, knowledge of EMR, use of prescription drug monitoring portal and covermymeds.com, is helpful but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Triaging of telephone calls with guidance by physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Facilitating communication between physicians/APP's and patients
  • Medication prior authorizations and facilitate communication with insurance carriers
  • Data entry
  • Rooming pulmonary patients and taking/recording of vitals
  • Spirometry Pay:
    $21.00
