Full-Time Saturday Availability Required:
9:00 AM-1:00 PM Montville MedSpa & Pain Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position ideal for someone who is comfortable providing an excellent patient experience at the front desk while also assisting our medical providers with day-to-day clinical responsibilities. This position will begin part-time with the potential to transition to full-time based on the needs of the practice and performance. Saturday availability from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM is required. Responsibilities Front Desk & Patient Experience Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience from check-in through checkout Answer incoming phone calls, texts, and patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments Collect and verify patient information, insurance information, forms, and required documentation Assist with incoming leads and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments Communicate effectively with providers and other team members regarding patient needs Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the practice's scheduling and medical record systems Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front desk and reception area Medical Assistant Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments Room patients and assist providers with patient flow Obtain and document appropriate patient information Assist providers during medical and aesthetic treatments as appropriate Prepare supplies and equipment needed for scheduled procedures Assist with medication and medical supply inventory, restocking, and organization Maintain cleanliness and appropriate infection-control standards within treatment areas Assist with clinical documentation and administrative follow-up as directed by providers Support the medical team with additional patient-care responsibilities within the scope of the position and applicable office protocols Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office, medspa, dermatology, plastic surgery, pain management, or similar healthcare setting is preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, polished, and friendly demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable multitasking in a busy medical and aesthetic environment Ability to learn new scheduling, CRM, and electronic medical record systems Comfortable discussing appointments, treatments, pricing, and office policies with patients Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Must maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Schedule Part-time with the potential for full-time Saturdays from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM are required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that every patient interaction matters. The ideal candidate is warm and personable, but also proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative. Because this position supports both the front desk and clinical team, flexibility and teamwork are essential. The right candidate will be someone who can confidently move between answering a patient call, managing the schedule, assisting a provider, preparing a treatment room, and helping keep the practice running smoothly.
