  • Front Desk in Staunton, VA.
Job Summary Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Shift time: 7am to 4pm Floating when needed, mileage reimbursement offered Overview The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience One year of clinical/administrative experience required Phlebotomy experience preferred Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification/Licensure Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs: CCMA

  • Certified Medical Assistant or RMA
  • Registered Medical Assistant or EMT
  • Emergency Medical Technician BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
