Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Bluffton, SC | Full-Time | Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00 and alternating Fridays, can also be Tuesday-Friday on some weeks A busy and growing plastic surgery and aesthetics practice in Bluffton is seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a highly respected physician and provide exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical and aesthetic journeys. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information Assist the physician with office procedures and treatments Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care Maintain accurate electronic medical records Prepare exam rooms and ensure clinical areas remain clean and organized Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Current CMA certification preferred Previous medical assistant experience required Plastic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic, or surgical specialty experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working with electronic medical records Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service
