The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient care in an outpatient setting, assisting with various clinical and administrative tasks. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient service and have a solid understanding of medical procedures and protocols. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic life support measures as necessary. Administer medications as directed by physicians or nursing staff. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially in emergency medicine scenarios. Support the clinic by coordinating patient flow and managing appointments. Collaborate effectively with staff in a clinical environment to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients on treatment plans and medication administration as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and outpatient care systems is essential. Familiarity with coding practices for insurance purposes is a plus. Strong communication skills to provide excellent patient service and support team collaboration. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly in emergency situations.
