Job Description

Job Responsibilities A teaching position in which the faculty member functions under the direction and supervision of the Program Manager in a course. Responsibilities relate to classroom/laboratory instruction or direct supervision of Medical Assisting students in a clinical setting and associated tasks necessary to meet the learning outcomes of the course/program. Minimum and Additional Requirements Associate degree or Certificate/Diploma in content area or closely related field. National Certification as a medical assistant or certified or licensed in a closely related medical field. Minimum of 2 years work experience as a medical assistant. Clinical/administrative skills required. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association) certification. Current Tuberculin Skin Test and required immunizations.
