Job Description

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the doctors in the care of our patients. You will be responsible for completing a preliminary information gathering and screening of the patients. You will have to complete all assigned tasks accurately, in a timely manner, and honestly. As we value teamwork, the cooperation and integration of all employees is crucial to our success. Bilingual speakers of English and Spanish. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services Assist during medical examinations and procedures Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Degree in medical assistance.
