Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm Novant Health Rock Hill Family Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our compassionate and patient-focused team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will coordinate and assist providers in delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care to patients within our practice. You will play an essential role in ensuring efficient clinic operations while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient.
What We're Looking For:
Education :
High School or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including: CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) • American Registry of Medical Assistants •(NHCWA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). I If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an certification agreement.
Experience :
Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
Licensure/Certification :
Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required Refer to Life Support Training Policy
NH-HR-3096
Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required Additional Skills/Requirements (required) : Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
What You'll Do:
Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures. Room patients, obtain vital signs, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record. Administer medications and immunizations within scope of practice
