Job Description

Position Overview We're looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our tight-knit clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, has strong clinical skills, and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Pediatric experience is preferred, but we're open to fast learners with the right heart and mindset. Phlebotomy experience is required. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred. What You'll Do Welcome young patients and families with warmth and professionalism. Master clinical workflow and rooming efficiency to ensure a seamless experience for families while maintaining the provider's schedule. Conduct clinical intakes by recording vitals, medical histories, and chief complaints in the EHR. Perform pediatric phlebotomy, including finger sticks and venipuncture. Administer vaccines and medications according to protocol. Prepare and sanitize exam rooms; keep inventory of supplies. Provide after-visit instructions and reinforce parent education. Coordinate with providers and team members to ensure smooth patient flow. Support front-desk tasks as needed (cross-training provided).
Qualifications Required:
Active MA certification (CMA-AAMA, RMA-AMT, CCMA-NHA, NCMA-NCCT, CMAC-AMCA, or equivalent)
Required:
Experience performing phlebotomy
Preferred:
Pediatric experience (clinic or hospital setting)
Preferred:
