POSITION SUMMARY
Serves as clerical and clinical support to multiple Doctor's Assistants and Physicians to ensure delivery of quality patient care

  • Assists with answering heavy call volume for multiple multi-specialty providers and responds accordingly to the caller's needs which may include calling in prescriptions, pre and post surgical questions, orders, etc.
  • Assists with preparing charts for clinic, scheduling tests, referrals, disability forms, coding and other duties as assigned
  • Assists physician in clinic with patient care as needed
  • Helps the physician with post-op follow-up

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High school Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience:
2 years of experience in a healthcare setting and 1 year of clerical experience Required. Advanced medical terminology and orthopedic/surgical experience is a plus. Must be able to sit for and pass A-BROE certification.
