Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and providing excellent customer service Schedule appointments efficiently using medical scheduling software; manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical histories, updating records, and reviewing documentation for accuracy Maintain accurate medical records by filing, organizing, and updating electronic health records (EHR) systems Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, assisting with basic procedures, and handling specimen collection when necessary Review care plans and ensure proper documentation review for compliance with health information management standards Handle administrative duties such as typing reports, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing office correspondence with Microsoft Office tools Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred; clinic experience is a plus Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential Knowledge of medical terminology is essential Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with software is beneficial Excellent patient service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette in a multi-line phone environment Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Demonstrated clerical experience in office management or front desk roles within healthcare settings Embark on a rewarding career journey where your dedication to exceptional patient care and administrative excellence will thrive.
