Job Description

About us: Skin Solutions Dermatology (SSD) provides medical and surgical treatment for many types of skin issues. SSD also provides medical spa treatments with our licensed aestheticians. Come work with an exceptional team, where there is room for advancement/ growth! Clinic hours : Monday-Friday 6:30 am- 5:00 pm Our employees work 4-10 hour shifts allowing them three days a week off for work/life balance!
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform clinical assistant duties (on the job training is provided)
  • Follow
HIPAA & OSHA
compliance & safety guidelines. . Assist providers with procedures . Daily stocking/inventory of supplies . Electronic medical record recording (E-ClinicalWorks exp. a plus, not required) . Scribe for providers during office visits . Next day preparation . Patient care before, during and after procedures . Travel between clinics, as needed. Franklin, Brentwood and Thompsons Station Performing blood draws (exp. preferred; on the job training, provided) Patient Education
  • Assist with patient education with provider's guidance Administrative
  • Cleaning, sterilizing instruments
  • Testing of autoclave Reviewing pathology reports and sending to provider
Education and Experience:
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant, a plus . Certified Dermatology Technician, a plus . Licensed Practicing Nurse, a plus
  • Clinical experience, preferred
Essential Skills and Abilities:

Good understanding of skin anatomy and/or willingness to learn Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work as a team member. Well-organized with attention to detail. Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns. Treats patients and co-workers with respect. Ability to work well with physicians; anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment.
