Medical Assistant

About the Role Our busy primary care clinic in Germantown is looking for a dedicated and efficient Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and maintain a strong work ethic is essential. While we are seeking an experienced MA, this role is also a great clinical experience opportunity for a pre-med graduate looking to gain hands-on hours in a primary care setting.

Schedule & Benefits Work-Life Balance:

Clinic is open 8am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday and half day on Friday. Enjoy a half-day every Friday!

Competitive Pay:

Dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities Clinical:

Interview patients, document medical histories, take vitals, and administer vaccines/injections.

Phlebotomy:

Perform blood draws and process specimens. (We are willing to train the right candidate on venipuncture).

Administrative:

Manage patient callbacks, referrals, and assist with Prior Authorizations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records within the EMR ( eClinicalWorks familiarity is a significant plus).

Efficiency:

Someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment.

Skill Set:

Excellent documentation skills and a commitment to clinical accuracy.

Reliability:

A strong work ethic and a professional, patient-centered attitude.

Experience:

Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred, but we will consider motivated pre-health graduates with a strong clinical foundation.
