We are the premier local provider of primary health care and we set the standard for outstanding concierge-level medical service for our patients. Your tasks in this role are to: Schedule appointments, tests and treatments as needed for patients Process telephone calls, referrals, prior authorizations and pre-certifications Assist with Value Based Care initiatives, including contacting patients, working with management and insurance representatives, documenting and reporting measures Prepare patients for exam and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs, performing medication reconciliation and updating information Prepare exam and treatment rooms with the necessary instruments for your patients including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy Assist physicians and health care providers in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals Qualifications One year of Medical Assisting or other applicable clinical work experience is preferred Medical Assistant Certification or Registration - required OR Medical Assistants who recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a Medical Assisting training program must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 60 days of employment OR Candidates/incumbents with one year of Medical Assistant work experience If you are interested in joining our clinic team, we encourage you to apply today.
