Monday-Thursday, 16-24 hours per weekLocation:
In-office only We are seeking a compassionate and experiencedLicensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant:
to join our growing wellness team. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong clinical background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for integrative and functional medicine. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering intravenous (IV) infusions, along with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This part-time position has the potential to transition into a full-time role as our practice expands. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide education on infusion therapies, including potential side effects and what to expect. Review and interpret provider notes; explain treatment recommendations clearly and accurately to patients. Mix infusions Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during and after treatment. Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and medical history. Manage patient prescriptions through fax and e-scribe methods. Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, or text. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to support comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience . Skilled in core clinical procedures. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Background in a medical office, hospital, or emergency medicine setting. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) . Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook/Teams). Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Solid knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology related to infusion therapy. Reliable availability for scheduled shifts. A genuine interest in functional and integrative medicine .
