We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team in Manchester, TN. About Us Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists. Core Focus We do our individual and collective best to serve each other and our patients through conservative care in musculoskeletal health! About the Role As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our providers and ensuring excellent patient care. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team within our innovative orthopedic model. Responsibilities Perform standard medical assistant duties in an orthopedic clinic setting Obtain precertification for outpatient testing as needed Process referrals and schedule follow-up appointments Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner Maintain well-stocked exam rooms Administer injections and assist with bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (new grads welcome) Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (required) One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred Strong organizational and communication skills A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off (PTO) Apply today and join a team where your role truly makes an impact!
