Job Description
Medical Assistant (Oak Hill) Austin Ear Nose and Throat Clinic

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and preparing patients for examinations
- Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as strep and/or flu screening
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- knowledge of instrument sterilization
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide medical administrative support, sending orders, e-scripts, etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
- Experience in assisting with minor in-office procedures
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail to accurately record patient information and perform tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for managing electronic medical records and scheduling appointments As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care.
