In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional patient service while supporting medical staff with essential clinical tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across diverse medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, urgent care, and specialized areas such as dermatology and geriatrics. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify patient information and insurance, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Eclinical Works. Collect and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates. Prepare patients for examinations by documenting medical histories and current symptoms; assist with procedures as needed. Support clinical staff with basic medical tasks such as, specimen collection, administering IM and sub Q injections, and prepping patients for small procedures. Maintain organized patient records, ensure accurate ICD coding for diagnoses, and update charts in compliance with privacy regulations. Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage patient flow efficiently within outpatient or inpatient settings. Requirements Prior experience in medical assisting within primary care clinic. Familiarity with Eclinical works system and proficiency. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Sales or outgoing personality

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
