Job Description

FULL TIME POSITION.
We are Growing! We are looking for a calm and confident Medical Assistant to join our strong dermatologic surgery practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting, be comfortable working with patients of all ages, and have a strong set of technical skills. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the physician with patient care, taking vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, paper medical records and assisting in procedures under local anesthesia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is in the medical field to work with a team of professionals dedicated to providing quality skin cancer care. We specialize in surgical removal and reconstructive skin cancer surgery, using local anesthesia and in an office based setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications as directed by the physician. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, filing medical records, and maintaining medical supplies. Provide patient education on skin care and disease prevention. Helps Perform surgeries and biopsies. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the office.
