Our mission is to restore the quality of life to our patients through interventional treatments and complementary therapies in a compassionate and comfortable environment. This position includes but is not limited to; Greeting, triaging and discharging patients. Verifying patient information by interviewing patient, obtaining vital signs, medication reconciliation and reviewing, recording and updating medical history. Aiding the health care providers during examinations Managing electronic prescriptions refills as directed Administering IM injections Documenting phone calls and messages with accuracy while maintaining patient confidentiality. Making follow up appointments & completing necessary medical forms Obtaining correspondence reports from other offices and facilities Other related duties as assigned Able to or willing to learn how to maneuver C-Arm machinery a plus Requirements Education/Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Must be able to follow detailed instructions and understand basic medical terminology Must be able to type 50 wpm Competent with technology (tablets, laptops, printing, scanning, etc.) Willingness to learn skills in a variety of areas Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, take direction and initiative. Self-Motivated Experience 2 years preferred (Willing to train) Bilingual a plus, but not required Knowledge of basic medical terminology (preferred) Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)
