The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and emergency medicine. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering efficient healthcare services. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health record systems. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or medical office environment. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care measures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Support emergency medicine procedures as needed in urgent care settings. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist with various medical procedures. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in outpatient clinics, urgent care, or emergency medicine is preferred. Strong procedures and protocols. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of anatomy is essential for assisting with clinical tasks.
