Role Overview:
As a Medical Assistant, you play a critical role in the patient care experience.Your day-to day activities include:
- Engaging with patients to understand their visit purpose, recording chief complaints, and documenting medical histories.
- Conducting vital signs measurements like blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight.
- Preparing and managing treatment rooms for patient examination.
- Collaborating with physicians to coordinate high-quality patient care.
- Upholding confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
- Managing medical supplies, sterilization of instruments, and ensuring well-stocked examination rooms.
- Handling referrals and obtaining procedural authorizations.
- Administering injections as needed.
Bring Your Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification; Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities are a plus.
