Our focus is on excellent patient care and a positive impact on breast cancer patients. Our office is near campus at Medical City Dallas. We have an opening for a Medical Assistant that we are looking to fill ASAP. REQUIREMENTS
Available to work M-F 8 am-5 pm, with occasional overtime Be a team player and cross train in other positions Professional appearance and demeanor a must Reliable, accountable, excellent work ethic, compassionate and good patient relations. At least 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a surgical practice is preferred, but will consider candidates who have less experience that have the right work ethic, attitude and potential. Quick learner, who is trainable and can adhere our policies and procedures Must have a solid work history, with verifiable references and proven track record of excellence Able to pass background check.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required
  • travel to satellite office in Ft Worth once a week
DUTIES INCLUDE
Front and Back office. Scribe and documentation, completing visit notes. Rooming patients, managing clinic flow Patient care, removing drains, removing sutures, assisting in procedures, applying dressings, sterile technique, patient education, telephone triage, calling post op patients. Cleaning instruments, stocking rooms, ordering supplies Organizing photos, obtaining prior authorization, scanning, calling in medications, prepping for clinic, following up on orders, data entry, new patient intake, verifying insurance, pre-determinations New patient intake, insurance eligibility, collecting payments, scheduling appoinments and managing the doctors schedules. Tracking follow-up appointments, diagnostic testing, operative reports, and pre-surgical labs. This is a great office and team to join. We are looking to hire immediately to start training.
