Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support procedures. Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and maintain comprehensive medical records. Support administrative duties like scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing medical documentation. Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance strategies. Assist with inpatient procedures in hospital or trauma center environments, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding standards. Experience in dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and medical office management software. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and professionalism. Ability to perform clinical procedures such as vital signs collection, phlebotomy, medication administration, and intake assessments. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance for patient privacy. Inpatient experience or OR (Operating Room) experience is a plus for specialized roles requiring surgical support or trauma care.
