Medical Assistant Deer Park Family Clinic Deer Park, TX Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Free parking Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Blood sampling Vital signs Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Computer skills Certified Medical Assistant Family medicine Full Job Description Assist Physicians and /or Physician Assistants in the performance of Occupational and DOT Physicals and perform the following tasks: (WILL TRAIN) Drug Screen Breath Alcohol Screening Pulmonary Function Test Audiograms Respirator Fit Testing (Quantitative and Qualitative) Vitals (BP, Heart Rate and Vision) TITMUS Vision Screening Phlebotomy X- Ray Qualifications and Education Requirements A minimum of a High School diploma or an equivalent is required. Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required. Must have1 to 2 years of experience in a Family Practice Office. Certifications in any of the above-mentioned fields is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform Vitals. Will train and certify for other requirements of the job. Applicant must have basic computer skills and have attention to details with accuracy in their notations.

Additional Notes:

Applicant will be required to complete a drug screen. We have very busy practice both at our occupational medical clinic and on different job locations. Looking for a long term employee who is personable with a good work ethic and will be a team player.
