  • 4400 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028 Work hours: PRN
  • Availabiilty, varied, with Monday through Friday Days and evenings preferred.

  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy is preferred PBT(ASCP)
  • Phlebotomy Technician Upon Hire is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills. Proficient in basic computer skills.
Prefer:
Venipuncture skills with all age groups. What You Will Do For those entities performing phlebotomy; employee follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, patient identification and labeling as appropriate for the age of the patient Follows established laboratory test procedures
Patient Treatment:
Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific criteria Demonstrates ability to perform specimen processing protocols Participates in orientation and training of students, volunteers, new employees, and observers Quality control guidelines are followed Follows HIPAA guidelines Additional perks of being a Texas Health Clinical Laboratory Assistant Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits.
