Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Medical assistant/Medical office assistant for a clinic in Frisco, Tx. The candidate must have at least 1 + years of experience working as a medical assistant with excellent interpersonal quality and great communication skills. Some of the essential functions include but not limited to: 1. Efficiency and experience in rooming patients, vital signs, EKG and entering these in the EMR is expected. 2. Experience with front desk medical office activities include checking patient in and out, checking insurance eligibility, registering patient into EMR, checking referrals, scheduling patients, answering phone calls, collecting co-pay/deductibles and other clerical duties (faxing, scanning records, calling doctors office/patients) is encouraged. 4. Medical Assistant certification is preferred. 3. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. 4. Familiarity with ECW EMR preferred. 5. Please send CV with salary expectation.
