Job Description

Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, Pathology Faculty

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing coverage in Anatomic Pathology, to include signing out Surgical Pathology with a primary focus on GI and Liver Pathology.
Additional responsibilities will include covering Frozen Sections and after-hours call for Surgical Pathology. The candidate will also teach residents, fellows, medical students, PA's and PA students as well as attend and participate in intra and inter-departmental conferences, and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • _The candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology, eligible for Texas Medical Licensure, and authorized to work in the United States._
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fellowship training or experience in GI and Liver Pathology or Surgical Pathology with a strong GI and Liver pathology component.

  • Commensurate with experience.
